We do know that some state dental boards have not taken an official position on the use of NASHA/ Restylane® Dermal Fillers. This often means that the state dental board has not been asked by dentists to determine if these procedures are within the scope of practice of dentists in that particular state.

The course fee is waived for a current member of a state dental board.

YOU SHOULD CONTACT YOUR LOCAL BOARD BEFORE CONSIDERING THIS OR ANY OTHER COURSE.
5 Are these procedures covered by my liability insurance?
We have been told by many colleagues who have completed this course that they had no problem establishing coverage with their liability carriers, while others had to educate their liability carrier before this procedure was added to their policies. The carriers who are reluctant are simply not aware that these procedures are within the scope of practice of dentists. Remembering that you are administering NASHA/ Restylane Dermal Fillers in the lower face and around the mouth, which is most often within the scope of practice of dentists.
